Dorchester County Library has been awarded a $30,000 project grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to solely fund a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Mobile Lab!
The Mobile Lab will be equipped with STEM-based interactive materials and cutting-edge technology, such as drones and VR kits, that will allow students to explore real-world problems and utilize creative thought processes.
On-site lessons will be facilitated by a STEM Instructor and are expected to begin in Spring 2022.
This project is made possible by a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the South Carolina State Library.
